It’s no secret that Microsoft Office is expensive. There are actually several good alternatives out there. Google Docs is one of them. As with most of their products, you’ll need a Google Account. Without going into much detail about it now, it’s basically an office suite you access via the web. It’s not nearly as powerful as Microsoft’s product, but it’s not bad for basic functionality.
